Advertising with Trucking Life with Shawn

Reach truck drivers where they already plan the night, park the truck, and study for the job.

What TLWS is

Trucking Life with Shawn is a working driver’s platform, not a marketing site with a truck on it. Shawn Gresham has seventeen years and zero violations behind him, and everything here is built for the job he actually does.

Drivers use it to find truck parking and truck stops, plan a run, check a scale, look up a DOT rule, and study for a CDL endorsement. Those are planning moments — the driver is deciding where to stop and who to call before the wheels are turning.

Advertising on TLWS puts your business in those planning moments, on the pages that cover your corridor and your category, clearly labelled as a paid placement.

Where a driver meets the platform

  • Truck stop & parking directoryTruck stops, paid and free truck parking, CAT scales, repair, tire, washes and more — browsable by state, by interstate corridor, and by exit.
  • Truck parking pagesThe pages a driver opens in the afternoon deciding where the night ends, narrowed to a state, a corridor and a direction of travel.
  • Trip PlannerWhere a run gets laid out before it starts — stops, fuel, and where the hours run out.
  • Knowledge CenterDOT compliance, medical, careers and getting-your-CDL articles drivers search for by name.
  • Practice testsCDL general knowledge and endorsement practice tests — new drivers and drivers adding an endorsement.
  • CDL school & pre-schoolThe training side of the platform, where drivers arrive before they have a truck at all.

Who TLWS serves

Drivers use the platform to plan where to stop, who to call, and what the rule says. These are the businesses that advertise to them:

  • · Truck stops and travel centers
  • · Paid truck parking operators
  • · Towing and heavy recovery
  • · Mobile truck repair
  • · Heavy truck repair shops
  • · Roadside tire service
  • · Truck washes
  • · CDL schools and training providers
  • · Insurance, compliance and permitting services for carriers
  • · Other businesses that serve commercial drivers on the road

What is for sale, and what it costs

Featured listing

$99/month or $999/year

Paying yearly costs $189 less than twelve monthly payments.

Your listing shown in the featured position on the pages that cover your area.

Where it appears:
The category pages your business belongs to — truck parking, truck stops, repair, tire, wash and the rest; The interstate corridor pages your location sits on; Wherever your listing is ranked among others, carrying its Sponsored label
What you pay for:
The featured position on the Directory pages that cover your business, and the Sponsored label that goes with it. You are paying for the placement itself — not for a number of views, clicks, calls or customers.
Capacity:
Up to three featured businesses per category or corridor page.
Public label:
Sponsored
When the term ends:
The featured treatment stops on its own at the end of the paid term — there is nothing to cancel and no automatic renewal. Your ordinary Directory listing stays exactly where it was, published and free, with the same facts, hours and reviews it had before you ever paid. You lose the featured position, not your presence.
Who can buy it:
Your business needs a published Directory listing with a category. A handful of national chains are held out of the paid funnel entirely because nobody at that company has agreed to anything with us — selling their name would misrepresent the relationship.

What this does not buy

  • No guaranteed traffic, leads, calls or sales.
  • No guaranteed search ranking.
  • Paid placement never changes a listing’s facts, parking truth, hours or reviews.
  • Every paid placement is labelled Sponsored and carries rel="sponsored".
  • Not exclusive — up to three sponsored listings share a page.
  • The placement ends automatically when the paid term does; it is not renewed unless you renew it.
  • A sponsored listing is still ranked and described by the same rules as every other listing.

Corridor sponsor

$299/month or $2,999/year

Paying yearly costs $589 less than twelve monthly payments.

The primary sponsor position on an interstate corridor page.

Where it appears:
The interstate corridor page you choose, as the primary sponsor block; Set apart from the listings as a sponsor unit, clearly labelled Sponsored; On the page a driver opens while deciding where to stop on that corridor tonight
What you pay for:
The primary sponsor position on one interstate corridor page, for the term you buy. Not the site, not a state, not a category — the corridor page you agreed, and only that one.
Capacity:
One primary sponsor per corridor page.
Public label:
Sponsored
When the term ends:
The sponsor block stops rendering the moment the paid window closes — the window is checked on every page render, not by someone remembering. Nothing renews by itself; if you want the next term you tell us so.
Who can buy it:
Any legitimate business serving drivers on that corridor. Because there is one primary sponsor per corridor page, a corridor already sold is genuinely unavailable until its term ends — we will tell you that rather than sell you a second one.

  • Sole primary sponsor of the one corridor page bought — not of the site, a state, or a category.
  • The block is a sponsor unit, not a directory listing, and is never ranked among listings.

These are founding rates — the first published prices for Directory placement, set while TLWS proves the model with its first advertisers. They are not a limited-time countdown and there is no deadline attached to them. If they change, the change applies to new agreements, and anyone already in a term keeps the rate they agreed.

Capacity and exclusivity

  • · Up to 3 featured businesses share any one category or corridor page.
  • · One primary sponsor per interstate corridor page.

Those are the limits we operate to, published so you know what you are buying into. We do not publish live spot counts and we do not run countdowns — if a corridor you want is already taken, we will tell you when you ask, and we will not invent urgency to move you off it.

Audience proof — where we honestly are

We are publishing our first verified traffic baseline, and we will not quote one before it exists.

TLWS has not published a website traffic figure, and this page will not carry one until the number comes from reporting you can be shown rather than a claim you have to take on faith.

What we can show you today is the platform itself: the Directory pages, the corridor coverage, the parking pages, and exactly where your placement would sit on them. Ask and we will walk you through the page your business would appear on before you spend anything.

Founding rates are available while that reporting is being established. When verified figures exist, they will be published here with the definition, the measurement period and the source attached — the same standard we would want if we were the ones buying.

Sponsored disclosure and the trust line

Paying us never changes what a driver is told. Not once, not for anyone.

Paid placement never influences any of the following, for any advertiser, at any price:

  • Truck routing and turn-by-turn guidance
  • Bridge heights, weight limits and restriction warnings
  • DOT and regulatory answers
  • Hours-of-service calculations
  • Whether a parking lot is free, paid, full or open
  • The facts on any listing — hours, services, phone number, address
  • Reviews, and how they are ordered or shown
  • Any ranking presented to a driver as neutral
  • Emergency and roadside safety recommendations

A paid placement buys a labelled position on a page. It does not buy a better fact, a softer warning, a higher neutral ranking, or a driver being pointed at you when the honest answer is somebody else. If your business would only be worth advertising with us on the other side of that line, we are not the right fit and we would rather say so now.

Every paid placement is labelled on the page a driver reads, and every sponsored outbound link carries rel="sponsored" so search engines see the paid relationship too. That is not negotiable and it is not something we soften for a bigger order — the label is what makes the rest of the Directory worth trusting, and the trust is what makes your placement worth buying.

What is guaranteed, and what is not

Guaranteed

  • Your placement runs on the pages and for the term we agree, or we make it right.
  • It is labelled Sponsored, so drivers know what they are looking at.
  • It stops on its own when the paid term ends — nothing auto-renews and nothing keeps running on a card you forgot about.
  • One primary sponsor per corridor page means the corridor you buy is not sold twice.
  • You deal with Shawn directly, and he tells you when something is not working.

Not guaranteed

  • No guaranteed traffic, leads, calls or sales.
  • No guaranteed search ranking.
  • Paid placement never changes a listing’s facts, parking truth, hours or reviews.
  • Every paid placement is labelled Sponsored and carries rel="sponsored".
  • No guaranteed number of impressions, views, clicks, calls or customers.
  • No guaranteed return on what you spend.
  • No exclusivity beyond the capacity rules published above.

We sell the placement, not the result. Nobody can honestly guarantee you leads from a placement like this, and anyone who claims otherwise is either measuring something you cannot check or selling something they cannot deliver. If a future TLWS product ever guarantees a measurable deliverable, it will say so in writing on the agreement — until then, treat every outcome number you hear as a claim nobody has verified, including ours.

How a business buys, and what happens next

  1. 1. You send an inquiry One short form. It takes no payment, holds no slot, and starts no subscription. Nothing about your Directory listing changes by sending it.
  2. 2. Shawn replies personally Every inquiry is read by a human. You will be shown the actual page your placement would sit on, and told plainly whether the corridor or category has room.
  3. 3. You agree the placement and the term The product, the page, the term and the price get agreed in that conversation, at the published rate. Payment is arranged directly — there is no checkout on this site.
  4. 4. The placement goes live, labelled It is activated by hand once payment is confirmed, and it carries its Sponsored label from the first render. It stops on its own when the term ends.

Inquiry path: the advertiser inquiry form. It takes no payment, holds no slot, and starts no subscription. Placement is subject to review and to the page still having room.
